About Us
In this area we introduce you to our mission and our committee and commission members, all of whom are involved in the field of research and practice focused on relationships between groundwater and climate change. Such work investigates both the impacts and adaptations of climate change.
Drivers such as population growth, development, urbanization and changing dietary preferences in large emerging countries all lead to increased (ground)water demand, and merit attention within the activities of IAH-CGCC, as does the role of groundwater in adaptation to these drivers.
Additionally, the commission collaborates with sister organisations and with other commissions and networks within IAH.
